Our powder coatings business is a truly global enterprise with more than 30 manufacturing locations located in 22 countries on 5 continents.
Through our Interpon brand, we are the largest powder manufacturer in the world, and are clear market leader in Architectural, Automotive, Appliance and Industrial powders. The Interpon range includes a huge variety of products based on epoxy, epoxy-polyester, polyester, acrylic and polyurethane polymers.
Powder Coatings products for Architectural, Automotive, Domestic Appliance, Furniture, IT and Industrial markets are sold under the registered global trademark Interpon.
Powder Coatings products for Functional markets, including Pipeline, Valves & Fittings, Rebar and Electrical Insulation, are sold under the registered global trademark Resicoat. Our functional powders are based on fusion bonded epoxy technology

1975; First Interpon powder plant opened - at Felling, in the UK
1976; Bonneval powder business acquired in Germany
1980; Supertintas powder and resins business acquired in Sao Roque, Brazil
1981; New Interpon plant built in Melbourne, Australia
1985; Interpon plant built in Houston, TX
1985; Acquisition of Robert Bryce powder business in Australia

Coatings (ANCCC)
2003; Akzo Nobel buys the remaining 50% share of Interpon Powder
Coatings Korea Ltd ("IPCK") held by DPI; the company, based at
Shiwha, near Seoul, is now wholly owned by Akzo Nobel
