The powder application process is absolutely critical to the performance of the coating system in service.
The cleanliness of the substrate and the adequacy of the chemical pretreatment are vital factors in determining the long term adhesion of the coating and its capability to resist the forces of weathering. The control on the application process determines the thickness, consistency and appearance of the finish. The curing process controls the degree of chemical cure which is also a vital factor affecting the toughness and durability of the coating.
Interpon D Approved Applicators are architectural coating specialists with the equipment, experience and knowledge to get the coating job done properly and to specification. They have fully equipped laboratories and Quality Management systems in place. The Interpon D Range may only be applied by Approved Applicators who have been assessed by AkzoNobel or by an appropriate independent quality organization specializing in architectural coatings.
