Akzo Nobel Test Methodology

At Akzo Nobel Powder Coatings we have developed the specifications for our range of interior and exterior Furniture products using well known industry standards and in-house test methods.  This document seeks to outline the test methods employed and demonstrate their relevance to coatings on Furniture.

The powder coating is not there only to provide aesthetic appeal.  It is there to protect the metal beneath and provide longevity to the lifetime of the piece.  There are many different tests and specifications for coatings as a whole, but those detailed here are the key performance criteria for coatings on Furniture.  At Akzo Nobel Powder Coatings we have the global industry expertise to assist you in the correct powder coating choice for your Furniture.
For further information on the actual specification levels for interior and exterior products, please consult the appropriate supporting literature or visit the F1000/F1500 part of this site
