For more than four decades Resicoat has been a leading manufacturer of fusion bonded epoxy powder for electrical insulation, valves and fittings, high perfomance and long life protection of internal and external pipelines and for protecting rebar in concrete. 

Our steps to success:

1960: Belonging to Robert Bosch we developed an epoxy material for the electrical insulation of automotive equipment

1965: Start of the first powder production on a technical scale for electrical insulation (Resicoat^® EL series)

1971: Foundation of Resicoat GmbH by Akzo Coatings and Robert Bosch

1975: Coating of the first pipes externally (Resicoat^® R series) on a coating line in the Netherlands

1977: Starting internal pipe coatings

1978: Launch of Valves and Fittings coatings (Resicoat^® R4 series)

1985: Development of Rebar powders (Resicoat^® RB series)

1992: Resicoat joins the Akzo group

1998: Aquisition of Courtaulds - Global operation of Functional coatings begins

2002: Aquisition of Ferro
