The Octagon

World’s tallest octagonal residential offers a highly distinctive, recent addition to the city skyline, notable for both its geometry and engineering. A true octagon (eight equal sides), making it widely described as the world’s first pure octagonal. 155 meters tall with 49 floors. The design was made to maximise natural light (each facet gets direct daylight) and provide panoramic views in all directions. It has an efficient internal layout with a central core and radial apartment arrangement. The structural frame of reinforced concrete has aluminium façades coated with Interpon D2525 Futura color Aurosa. 

The neutral  tone is designed to complement Birmingham’s historic civic surroundings.
