Van Don Airport

Van Don Airport is a gateway to one of Vietnam’s most treasured landscapes, with its modern architecture inspired by the natural beauty of Ha Long Bay. The main terminal’s design resembles the sailing boats seen on the bay’s emerald waters – beautifully echoing local culture. The architects chose Interpon D2525 to coat the metal structure of the domed roof, reflecting the beautiful brown and red hues found on the sails of the boats. The overall effect exemplifies a harmonious blend of modern architectural practices and natural inspiration producing an award-winning design that, protected by Interpon D powder coatings, can be enjoyed for years to come.
