Lantern House

When you’re surrounded by the icons of architecture in the heart of New York it takes a unique idea to stand out from the rest - and the Lantern House does just that. Rather than opting for tried and tested glass apartment blocks seen all over the Manhattan area, this new residential project takes advantage of the use of three-dimensional façade bay windows emulating the shape of a lantern offering residents stunning views of the Hudson River. Taking inspiration from British Victorian houses, these lantern-shaped windows are enriched by the surrounding copper-colored frames, coated in an Interpon D3000 hyperdurable powder coating, in a color and finish that complements the area’s historical past.
