The WSA  terminal’s architectural concept derives from a synthesis of aeronautical efficiency, regional identity, light and landscape, aiming to create a  a welcoming gateway for travellers. The form is generally low and horizontal—with a sculptural envelope and extensive natural light—echoing the surrounding Cumberland Plain landscape. The design emphasises openness, natural ventilation, long sightlines, and seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. The ceiling battens have been coated with Interpon D2525 Futura Madera which delivers a warm and comforting atmosphere.
